She has spent the past ten years experiencing different major cities in the United States: from Seattle and San Francisco to Austin, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and New Orleans. Before she turned to freelance writing, she worked in non-profits, fundraising, and even took some time to teach English abroad in China. Freelance writing gives JW the opportunity to learn about different content areas, use her experience with keywords, and to reach a variety of audiences.
Today, JW specializes in blogs and product reviews. She has experience with everything from search engine optimization (SEO), product buying guides, and a variety of blogs. JW has a background in event planning, beauty, personal care, and healthcare, and how-to articles. She is a life-long learner who loves the research process. With the advent of the internet, JW understands how blogs and online writing have democratized the freelance world.
JW is currently working on her own website and building her portfolio. She hopes to one day publish a book chronicling all of her travels, including photos and excerpts from her travel journal.
JW loves traveling, and she hopes to one day be able to live in an RV. She is an avid runner and scrapbooker when she is not writing. When she is not traveling, she loves to spend time with her new adopted dog, taking photos, and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews.
